Nadine is an artist, art educator and researcher whose practice explores identity, cultural heritage, storytelling and belonging. Her work spans creative practice, education and research, with a particular interest in how culture is represented, remembered and experienced.

As an artist, Nadine works with the written and spoken word, exploring personal and cultural narratives through themes including identity, joy, rage and dreams. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and published across local and national platforms. In 2012, she was selected by the BBC as one of 20 artists to document the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Thames Pageant. Her research into Jamaican oral traditions led to the publication of Illustrated Jamaican Proverbs: Vol. I.

As an arts educator, Nadine has 16 years’ experience across Early Years to A Level, specialising in curriculum design, assessment and portfolio development. Her practice is grounded in culturally authentic, decolonised and research-informed arts education, alongside consultancy and community-based initiatives.

Nadine is currently completing an MA in Arts and Learning. Her research examines whether contemporary museum inclusion initiatives can create genuine belonging for global majority communities within institutions shaped by colonial histories. Across her work, she brings together art, education and research to explore culture, representation and belonging.
