Nadine has over 10 years of teaching experience. Growing up, I was surrounded by the duality of being a foreigner in the land of my birth, and a stranger in the land of my parents. A way to develop a sense of belonging was and continues to be, artmaking.

The work I create is often in response to the written and spoken word, cultural heritage, issues of identity and relationships.

I am naturally drawn to the female form, rich tones and textures of brown and, colours that give a nod to my Jamaican heritage.

This is infused in my teaching practice; whether painting parties or teaching materials, you will find a common thread of empowerment and joy.
